Instructions

To begin the CLIMB Assessment, follow the instructions below:

Part 1: Registration
  1. Enter your first name, last name and e-mail address below and click on the Submit button. We require your name in order to invite your supervisor to participate in evaluating your leadership. You MUST use a .mil e-mail address.
  2. On the next page, read the Privacy Statement, enter your supervisor's first name, last name and e-mail address, and select your organization. We require your supervisor's information in order to send them an e-mail invitation to complete their portion of Self-Supervisor Assessment. Your supervisor must complete their portion within 30 days, or you will have to complete the CLIMB again. Please discuss with your supervisor to ensure they will be available to complete the assessment during this time period before you begin.
  3. You will receive an e-mail, with a link to the assessment. This assessment will include a Demographic Survey, the Personal Characteristics Assessment and the Self-Supervisor Assessment. Your supervisor will also receive an email, with a link to the Self-Supervisor Assessment.
Part 2: Begin Assessment
  1. Click on the link in the e-mail to begin.

    Note: You may stop and re-start the assessment at any time if needed and resume at the same point. Simply follow the instructions in the e-mail that you receive.
Part 3: Review Your Results
  1. Once you have completed the 3 part assessment, and your supervisor has completed the Self-Supervisor Assessment, your scores will be compiled and distributed. You will receive an e-mail with 2 PDF attachments, one for the Personal Characteristics results and one for the combined Self-Supervisor results.
  2. Your supervisor will receive only the combined Self-Supervisor results. At your option, you may forward the results of the Personal Characteristics Assessment to your supervisor, if you wish to share them.
